From insight to impact: Reflections from the International Drone Show

Great to be at the @International Drone Show, an energising few days connecting with operators, partners, and innovators shaping the future of uncrewed systems. Thank you to @Odense Robotics @UAS Denmark Test Center @UAS Denmark for bringing together such a forward-thinking and highly engaged community. 

A few themes that strongly resonated for Callen-Lenz: 

• Proven, deployable capability wins 
  Customers are prioritising systems that are validated and field-ready, not future concepts. Demonstrated performance is a clear differentiator. 

• T+E is a strategic enabler 
  Access to credible test and evaluation capability is critical to accelerating adoption, de-risking integration, and getting capability into the field faster. 

• Autonomy needs assurance to scale 
  There’s strong appetite for autonomous systems, but adoption hinges on reliability, repeatability, and operator trust in real-world conditions. 

• Interoperability is now expected 
  Solutions must integrate seamlessly into existing architectures, with open, modular approaches becoming the baseline. 

• Rapid iteration underpins advantage 
  The ability to test, learn, and evolve quickly is key to staying relevant in a fast-moving operational environment. 

• Counter-UAS and resilience are increasing priorities 
  Alongside capability development, there is growing focus on survivability and operating effectively in contested environments. 

At Callen-Lenz, these conversations reinforce our focus on delivering mission-ready, high-performance systems that solve real operational challenges turning, innovation into deployable capability at pace.
