Our biggest year yet at the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) UAS Challenge!

Not only is this year set to be the largest IMechE UAS Challenge to date, it also marks our most significant year of mentorship and we’re incredibly proud to announce that Callen-Lenz will be mentoring two fantastic teams in the 2026 competition.

🎓 University of Bath – Team Bath Drones
After an outstanding performance last year, culminating in a first‑place win, we are thrilled to continue as the team’s main sponsor and technical mentor. We can’t wait to support them as they aim even higher this season.

🦅 NMITE – Hawk of Hereford
This is NMITE’s first year competing, and with an already strong relationship in place, we’re delighted to guide and support their team as they take on the Challenge for the very first time.

Across both teams, Callen-Lenz engineers will provide regular technical guidance, UAS expertise, and hands‑on support, right through to being on the ground with them at the event in late June.

We’re excited to see what both teams achieve this year and wish them every success as the competition begins.
